Happy Holidays

Well, time has swiftly moved and it's about 3 days before Christmas. I still haven't finished my shopping and just the thought of going out into the last minute rush is something that I'm not ready for but anyway I do what I have to. I will like to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and I hope you get everything you want for Christmas and have a prosperous New Year. Times are tight and money is low so if I had one wish for everyone is that everybody is warm and have food to eat for the holidays. May you continue to believing that there is a God and that he is in control, so put it all in his hands and watch him work for you. Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night.

Holidays

Christmas is fastly aproaching and the anticipation is mounting. Although we are in an economic crisis, we will find a way to get our children/grandchildren something for Christmas. Also the holidays brings on a lot of stress, so what I'm going to do is to think positive and try not to get depressed. I will not focus on what I don't have but will be thankful for what I have. So I'm not going for the most expensive gifts because it's the thought that counts. All that really matters to me is to spend time with family and friends and enjoy good food, games, conversations and television/movies.
So, as the new year approach I will not be making any resolutions but will try to make more healthy choices in my life. So I hope everyone enjoys a stree free holiday and above all don't worry, be HAPPY!!!!

Learning 2.0 Remixed

This has been a interesting 9 weeks and I'm proud to say I kept up each week and didn't fall too much behind. I've enjoyed the challenge and my favorite week was the widgets. I have so many account now that it will be hard to remember all the new logins, especially the passwords. I joined Facebook and I actually had two people that wanted to be my friend. How cool is that! Anyway I feel that I've learned a lot and accomplished much for and old country girl. But the question is will I really use it? I know I'll use IM because we do that at work but most of the other things I'll probably never use again. I'm undecided about whether I'll keep my facebook account but who knows what may happen in the future. Anyway I can say I MADE IT.

Web 2.0

Well I don't know what all the hype is all about, maybe I just don't get it because I'm not a person to just sit around and play or be on the internet a lot or even all day. And it may be because I'm older but I feel that most of the hype is from the younger generation who are into all of the new technology. What I can say about web 2.0 is that it was a learning experience and I don't think I would have never even attempted to do this on my own but it was a requirement, I would say. I will probably never use some of the stuff I've learned or remember it all.
